Special opportunity for our guests traveling on two wheels: in our closed garage there are safe places reserved for your motorbike. You can use our small tool room in order to make your beloved vehicle ready for every trip.

Fun in winter
We offer our guests who want to enjoy their stay in the Venosta valley a unique opportunity: our host has been an experienced ski instructor for 30 years. He knows the ski slopes in the upper Venosta valley like the back of his hand. Do you have any questions about snow conditions, ski lifts and opening times, the ski school and its offers? Just ask our friendly and reliable host, he will be more than happy to share his expert knowledge, always updated. You will enjoy a safe ski holiday following his advice.
Watles SKIAREA
The nearby Watles ski area promises fun and wonderful slopes for the whole family and all fitness levels. The ski lifts are modern, the slopes perfectly prepared and you can also spend your time in the mountain restaurant Plantapatsch and the After ski Iglu. You will enjoy your ski day with wonderful slopes, gourmet pauses and a music show.
All skiers are welcome, whether big or small, you will discover how easy it is to start skiing with the help of the wonderful and professional instructors of the Watles ski school. Children can try their first slopes in our ski kindergarten and will be taken care of in the best possible way.
Fun with nordic ski…
It is guaranteed in the nearby nordic ski centre situated in Slingia, where you will find everything you can wish for. There are 15 km of beaten tracks with different difficulty levels at your disposal, from Slingia (1726 m) to the Slingia Alp (1868 m.). Will you just go by at a leisurely pace or will you really exert yourself? Just enjoy your favorite option.

Discover exciting buildings, historic monuments and picturesque villages where you can walk and enjoy yourself. There are wonderful places to see just out of our door that will interest everyone.
Burgeis, our village
This idyllic little village boasts beautiful picturesque spots and also some active farms dating back to the 16th and 17th century. Overlooking the village lies the majestic looking Benedictine monastery of Marienberg whose church and crypt are an absolute must see for all those who love peace and mystic life.
Castle Chur
In Schludern you will see a fascinating historic monument: Castle Chur is one of the best preserved and visited castles in South Tyrol. It is widely famous because of it unique armory and one of the biggest collections of armaments from the age of chivalry. The great event of the traditional tournaments held at the foot of the castle will remain in your memory for a long time.
The little town of Glurns
This medieval town with its historic centre, the massive and well conserved outer walls and the lovely small pergolas will offer you a special experience. During your walk through the past you can also enjoy visits in small cafés and the traditional food offered by the local restaurants.
Meran and the Gardens of Castle Trauttmansdorff
This spa town near the Passer river offers promenades, gardens, a mild climate and a mediterranean flair. It is only a 45 minutes drive from our pension and thus a very good opportunity to enjoy some shopping, cultural highlights and gourmet restaurants. The famous gardens of Castle Trauttmannsdorff are on a hill just outside the town: they present a wide range of local plants but also a colorful selection of exotic flora from all the lands of the Earth.
